2019 USPSA Nationals – Video

Had rotator cuff and bicep tendon surgery on Oct 21. Still recovering. Got bored. Wasted time editing some videos from last month’s USPSA National Championships. Took a lot longer doing this Weak Hand Only. If you’re bored and feel like wasting 2 minutes, click the video.

2019 USPSA Nationals – Results

Did a little better in 2019 but certainly not the results I was hoping for. First day was great – shooting the best I’ve ever shot. Second day was average – started to over think it. Third day was a disaster – pressure got to me, mental game broke down, physical leg cramps. Lots to dissect and figure out in training. Time for a break. Onward!

2018 USPSA Nationals – Results

Just finished my first Nationals. I really didn’t know what to expect other than it was going to be 22 stages and that it would be a very challenging match.

Well, it certainly met those expectations. I ended up finishing 10th in A Class, Open Division. Can’t say if I’m proud of that (I guess I am? Since I set a soft goal of finishing top 16 in my class) but I did walk away a bit disappointed. Not about the actual place but definitely around my performance. I made 12 scored errors (5 misses, 6 no shoots, and 1 procedural). I had been working hard all year to clean up my game, not rushing, and *really* calling my shots. I felt I had turned the corner by August with only 2 penalties at A3, 1 at MN Section, and 2 at IA Section.

Anyways, I’ll post some videos and my analysis of my performance soon.
